First Air
"First Air" was a Canadian airline that operated from 1946 to 2019. It was originally known as "Bradley Air Services" (BAS) and was founded by Russell Bradley in The Pas, Manitoba, Canada. Initially, the airline provided charter services and aircraft maintenance.

In 1973, Bradley Air Services changed its name to "First Air" and began scheduled passenger services to remote communities in the Canadian Arctic. The airline played a vital role in connecting these isolated regions with the rest of the country, transporting passengers, mail, and cargo. It served as a lifeline for many northern communities, providing essential supplies and transportation services.

First Air had its main hub at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, Ontario, and operated a fleet of various aircraft, including Boeing 737s, ATR 42s, and ATR 72s.

In 2019, First Air merged with Canadian North, another regional airline serving the Canadian Arctic. The newly merged entity continued operations under the name "Canadian North." The merger aimed to streamline operations and enhance services for customers in the northern regions of Canada.

Please note that my knowledge cutoff is in September 2021, so there might have been developments or changes regarding First Air or Canadian North since then.
