Check-In Info (Historical)
- Check-in opened 90 minutes and closed 30 minutes prior to departure
- Passengers were required to show government-issued ID
- Mobile check-in was not supported; only airport counter check-in was available
Boarding Pass
All boarding passes were issued at check-in counters at Hawaiian airports such as Honolulu (HNL), Kahului (OGG), Kona (KOA), and Lihue (LIH).
Baggage Policy
- Carry-on: 1 bag up to 7 kg (15 lbs)
- Checked baggage: 1 free bag up to 50 lbs, additional bags for a fee
- Overweight or oversized items incurred fees
About Island Air
Island Air was a commuter airline based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Founded in 1980 as Princeville Airways, it later became Island Air and served inter-island routes. Despite being the second-largest inter-island carrier in Hawaii, it ceased operations in 2017 due to financial challenges.
