Japan Transocean Air
Japan Transocean Air (JTA) is a regional airline based in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. It is a subsidiary of Japan Airlines (JAL) and operates domestic flights primarily within the Okinawa Prefecture and other parts of Japan. JTA was established in 1967 as Southwest Airlines and changed its name to Japan Transocean Air in 1993.

The airline's main hub is Naha Airport (OKA), which is the primary gateway to Okinawa. From Naha, JTA operates flights to various destinations within Okinawa, including Ishigaki, Miyako, and Kume islands. The airline also offers flights to mainland Japan, serving cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

JTA's fleet consists mainly of Boeing 737 aircraft, including both the 737-400 and 737-800 models. These planes are configured with a single-class cabin and are used for both scheduled passenger flights and charter services.

As a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, JTA operates in coordination with JAL, sharing resources and flight networks. This integration allows passengers to connect seamlessly between the two airlines for domestic and international travel.

JTA focuses on providing convenient and reliable air transportation services to residents and tourists visiting the Okinawa region. Its flights play a crucial role in connecting the islands within Okinawa and facilitating travel to and from the mainland of Japan.
