Malmö Aviation
Malmö Aviation was a Swedish regional airline based in Malmö, Sweden. It was founded in 1981 and operated scheduled domestic and international flights, as well as charter services. The airline primarily served destinations in Scandinavia and Europe.
Malmö Aviation had its main hub at Malmö Airport (formerly known as Sturup Airport) and operated a fleet of turboprop and jet aircraft. Over the years, the airline expanded its route network and established a reputation for its reliable service and high standards.
In 2013, Malmö Aviation became a subsidiary of the Braathens Aviation Group, which also owned other regional airlines in Sweden. However, in 2016, it was announced that Malmö Aviation would be integrated into the operations of its sister company, Sverigeflyg, and its branding would be discontinued. The decision was made to streamline operations and consolidate resources under a single brand.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Malmö Aviation is no longer an active airline, and its flights have been incorporated into Sverigeflyg's operations.
