MAT Macedonian Airlines, also known as Macedonian Airlines or simply MAT, was the national airline of North Macedonia. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, MAT Macedonian Airlines ceased operations in 2009. The airline faced financial difficulties and was eventually liquidated.

At its peak, MAT Macedonian Airlines operated flights to various destinations in Europe, including major cities such as Vienna, London, Rome, Zurich, and Istanbul. It primarily operated out of Skopje Alexander the Great Airport, which is the main international airport in North Macedonia.

Following the liquidation of MAT Macedonian Airlines, no new national airline has been established in North Macedonia. Instead, the country relies on various international airlines to provide air transportation services to and from Skopje and Ohrid, the two main airports in the country.
