Olympic Air was the flag carrier airline of Greece. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Olympic Air had undergone several changes in its ownership and operations.

Originally, Olympic Air was founded in 2009 as a subsidiary of the former Greek national carrier, Olympic Airlines. The establishment of Olympic Air came after the Greek government's decision to privatize Olympic Airlines due to financial difficulties. Olympic Air took over many of Olympic Airlines' domestic and international routes.

In 2013, Aegean Airlines, another Greek airline, acquired Olympic Air. The acquisition resulted in the merger of the two airlines under the brand name "Aegean Airlines." After the merger, the Olympic Air brand ceased to exist, and all flights were operated under the Aegean Airlines name.

Since then, Aegean Airlines has continued to operate as the largest airline in Greece, serving both domestic and international destinations. However, it is important to note that the airline industry is subject to changes, and new developments may have occurred since my last knowledge update.
