Pakistan International Airlines
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is the national flag carrier airline of Pakistan. It was founded on 29 October 1946 as Orient Airways and later became Pakistan International Airlines in 1955. PIA is headquartered in Karachi and operates its main hub at Jinnah International Airport.
PIA offers both domestic and international flights to various destinations around the world. The airline has a fleet consisting of a mix of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, including Boeing 777, Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and Airbus A320 and ATR aircraft.
Over the years, PIA has faced various challenges, including financial difficulties and operational issues. The airline has been working on restructuring and improving its operations to enhance its efficiency and customer service. PIA is also a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
In recent years, PIA has expanded its network, adding new destinations and increasing flight frequencies to cater to the growing demand for air travel. The airline aims to provide reliable and comfortable air transportation services to passengers while promoting Pakistan's culture and hospitality.
However, please note that my knowledge is based on information available up until September 2021, and there may have been some developments or changes with PIA since then.
