Sky Angkor Airlines
Sky Angkor Airlines was a Cambodian airline that operated from 2011 to 2017. It was a subsidiary of Cambodia Angkor Air, which is the national flag carrier of Cambodia. Sky Angkor Airlines primarily operated charter flights and offered services to various destinations in Asia.
The airline had a small fleet consisting of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. It provided both passenger and cargo services. Sky Angkor Airlines aimed to cater to the growing tourism industry in Cambodia and offered flights to popular destinations such as China, South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand.
However, in 2017, Sky Angkor Airlines suspended its operations due to financial difficulties. The airline faced financial challenges and struggled to compete with other airlines in the region. As a result, it ceased its operations, and its aircraft were returned to Cambodia Angkor Air.
It's important to note that my knowledge cutoff is in September 2021, so there may have been developments regarding Sky Angkor Airlines after that time. Please verify with up-to-date sources if you require the latest information.
