Sol Líneas Aéreas was an Argentine regional airline that operated from 2006 to 2016. The airline was headquartered in Rosario, Argentina, and primarily served domestic destinations within the country.
Sol Líneas Aéreas started its operations in 2006 and initially operated flights with small turboprop aircraft, such as the Saab 340. It gradually expanded its fleet and route network, connecting various cities in Argentina, including Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, and Rosario.
The airline faced financial difficulties throughout its existence, and in 2016, it suspended all operations and filed for bankruptcy. The main reasons for its closure were attributed to a combination of high operating costs, fierce competition from other airlines, and economic challenges in Argentina.
Since its closure, Sol Líneas Aéreas has not resumed operations, and there have been no reports of any plans to revive the airline.
