Transmile Air Services
Transmile Air Services was a cargo airline based in Malaysia. It was established in 1997 and operated primarily out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The airline provided domestic and international cargo services, transporting goods and freight to various destinations.
Transmile Air Services had a fleet of cargo aircraft, including Boeing 727 and Boeing 737 aircraft. It served destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, catering to the growing demand for air cargo transportation in the region.
However, Transmile Air Services faced financial difficulties and encountered various issues related to its operations. In 2007, the airline was involved in a scandal related to accounting irregularities, which led to the suspension of its stock trading. Subsequently, the airline's management faced legal actions and investigations.
As a result of these challenges, Transmile Air Services ceased operations in 2012. The airline's assets were sold off, and its air operator's certificate was revoked. Since then, Transmile Air Services is no longer active in the aviation industry.
