Trip Linhas Aereas
Trip Linhas Aéreas was a Brazilian regional airline that operated from 1998 to 2014. It was headquartered in Campinas, São Paulo, and had its main hub at Viracopos International Airport. Trip Linhas Aéreas focused on providing domestic flights to smaller cities and towns within Brazil.
The airline started its operations in 1998 with a single aircraft and gradually expanded its fleet over the years. It offered scheduled passenger services to destinations across Brazil, including popular tourist destinations and remote regions that were not well-served by larger airlines.
In 2012, Trip Linhas Aéreas merged with Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, another Brazilian airline. The merger created one of the largest airlines in Brazil, with a combined fleet and route network. Following the merger, the Trip brand was gradually phased out, and all flights operated under the Azul name.
Today, Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras continues to be one of the major airlines in Brazil, offering both domestic and international flights. It operates a diverse fleet of aircraft and serves numerous destinations across the country.
