VLM Airlines
VLM Airlines was a regional airline based in Belgium. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, VLM Airlines had experienced financial difficulties and ceased operations in 2018. The company had a history dating back to 1993 and operated scheduled and charter flights primarily within Europe.
In its earlier years, VLM Airlines operated a fleet of Fokker aircraft, including Fokker 50s and Fokker 100s. The airline provided services to various destinations across Europe, including cities such as London, Zurich, Antwerp, Rotterdam, and more.
Unfortunately, VLM Airlines faced financial challenges and underwent several ownership changes and restructurings in an attempt to stay operational. Despite these efforts, the airline ultimately filed for bankruptcy in 2018 and ceased all operations. Since then, there have been no significant developments or announcements regarding a potential revival of VLM Airlines.
