Zambian Airways
Zambian Airways was the national flag carrier airline of Zambia. However, as of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Zambian Airways had ceased operations in 2009 due to financial difficulties. The airline was established in 1964 and operated both domestic and international flights from its hub at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.
Zambian Airways faced various challenges throughout its existence, including financial mismanagement, high operating costs, and competition from other airlines. These issues ultimately led to the suspension of its operations in January 2009. Despite efforts to revive the airline, it did not resume its services, and its operating license was eventually revoked by the Zambian government in 2012.
